St. Eugene’s Parish is an inclusive community of God’s people committed to spreading God’s word and love, fostering faith by celebrating the sacraments, forming disciples and sharing time, talent and resources both in our community and beyond.
Chosen to honour the papacy — four popes have been named Eugene, St. Eugene Catholic Church was dedicated on April 1, 1962. Designed by architect Arthur Taylor, St. Eugene has been called “The Cathedral of the East End.”
Throughout its history, the parish has been animated by its mission of spiritual service and witness. Many priests and sisters have come from St. Eugene Parish. Currently 1,600 families call St. Eugene their spiritual home.

Located at 232 Queenston Road, in Hamilton, Ontario, St. Eugene Catholic Church was designed by architect Arthur Taylor, and dedicated in April, 1962.
